SCVAN provides resource, referral and advocacy services to crime victims and victim service providers through our Crime Victim Information and Service System (CVISS) Program. CVISS program staff share important information by: 1) Managing the SCVAN website; 2) Providing regular electronic communication through e-updates to over 4,000 subscribers as well as on social media platforms; and 3) Coordinating and/or delivering outreach and trainings to crime victims, victim service providers, and the general public to create awareness around victim rights, available resources, and the impact of crime and related issues.
