2024 Victims’ Rights Week Conference Information
The following continuing education credits are being applied for:
1) Victim Service Provider (VSP):
All new South Carolina advocates will have the ability to meet their 15-hour basic core requirement.
General attendees may earn up to 15 regular hours, depending on your attendance.
2) Continuing Law Enforcement Education (CLEE): Approved for 15 credit hours
3) Social Work Continuing Education: TBD
4) Continuing Legal Education (CLE): TBD
Conference Registration Refund Policy:
If you notify SCVAN on or before April 2, 2024 by 5:00pm that you are unable to attend, you will receive a full refund. There will be no refunds available after the end of business day on April 2, 2024. SCVAN encourages substitutions, if another individual within your organization would like to assume your registration, please send a request to info@scvan.org no later than April 9, 2024.
Hotel Location and Rate:
The Doubletree by Hilton Conference Hotel in Columbia, SC will have rooms available for $112 per night (plus approximately 13.14% taxes). Rates are subject to change with the release of 2024 government per diems. All existing and future reservations will be updated to the prevailing government rate at the time of release.
Conference App:
We will have a conference app available for all attendees. This is also how you will select your courses. App download information will be released to registrants approximately 2 weeks prior to the conference.

Crime Victim Scholarship Application:
The crime victim scholarship application is now closed.
General Conference Attendees:
Conference registrants must be employed by an agency that serves crime victims (system-based or non-profit), have a current SC Victim Service Provider (VSP) number issued through the SC Office of the Attorney General, and/or be a crime victim attending the conference on an awarded SCVAN conference scholarship.
