What is South Carolina Victims’ Rights Week?
South Carolina Victims’ Rights Week is a powerful annual gathering that brings together crime victims, survivors, and the professionals who serve them. The conference provides a safe and supportive space to learn from experts, connect with others who “walk in your shoes,” and share stories of healing and resilience.
One of the most meaningful moments is the Unity Ceremony, where participants honor their loved ones lost to violent crime. Attendees also take part in workshops designed to promote healing, address grief, anger, and stress, and build strength through shared experience.
